Change of Leadership



The standard change of leadership of Rotary Club of Iraklio took place in 24th June in a special ceremony at Atlantis Hotel.
In a packed hall the departing President Giorgos Tsoumpas reviewing his career thanked everyone that helped him during the rotarian year that just ended and in a modest ceremony, handed over to the new President Nontas Charonitis the Bell and Hammer and all the necessary documents of the Club.

Next, the new president read his programmatic statements and gave to the departing president an honorary plaquette thanking him for his deeds during the past year.
Finally, dear ex-President Fanis Kanakis took the word and in turn gave two posters to the two presidents, indicating symbolically the position and the work that has been done and will be done by the new direction of the Club.
