| Excursion and cleaning
of Dia island
On Sunday 24/07/05 our Club in collaboration with the association of Inflatable
Vessels of Heraclion cleaned the island of Dia of all the garbage that littered
its beaches. In this event participated more than 60 people who overcame
themselves when they helped in the gathering of almost 16 tons of garbage
which were then burnt on site.
After the end of this particular activity a lunch took place at the local
tavern, offered by Rotary Club of Heraclion.
